Seagar and CAno are not finalists for the Gold Glovetion.

MLB has announced the three finalists at each defensive position for the Gold Glove. The Mariners do not have a finalist at any position this year.

Cano I kind of understand. He appears lackadasial in the field (we all know he is anything but) and I think that turns off the selection committee. The finalists are Altuve, Kinsler and Dozier.

Seagar I don't get. He is the reigning GG at third and his defense did not drop off at all last year. The finalists are Beltre (deserving), Machado (popularity vote) and Longoria (extreme popularity vote).

GG is much like All-Star credentials...over hyped. I will never forget when Segui lost to Palmeiro in '99 when Palmeiro only played 28 games at 1B. Sham.

GG is a joke... however I didn't think Seager should win this year anyway. I also don't think Longoria or Machado should either.
