We went to watch a local university's football game (division I) last night.
There was a blocked PAT, that the defender then picked up and took all the way to the house.
This was scored as a safety for 2 points.
I don't specifically remember ever seeing that happen (blocked PAT taken the other way) at the pro level, but it seems like this would be a touchdown, not a safety.
Am I thinking about this wrong, or is this a scoring rule that differs from college, to the pro's?
