Even if the offense plays poorly, if the defense can maintain their overall stats they can hold Wisconsin in the 25-30 range.

Miami scored 31 when you add the garbage TD at the end. (less than 30 seconds)
Michigan St scored 27 and it's assumed they took the foot off the gas in the 4th Q.
Rutgers got to 24 on a TD against the back-ups with 5 minutes remaining.

The question is, can the offense put up mid to upper 20's. without having to play from behind

To me I just see a bunch of turnovers and shit giving Wisconsin about 21 easy points.

Because of this they'll score 30+.

I've seen this movie so many times. The game means too much.....there is too much pressure.

Gosh guys, looks I am going to miss the game and will have to DVR it to watch Saturday night. Root extra hard for the Huskers since I can't, and try to get along with each other. Well, the last one will never happen so...

I don't see Wisky scoring 45 on us. Our defense is looking good this year and history shows they peak this time of year. I say the 17-24 point area. If we can score more than that is up to our o line and winning the turnover margin.

If our line gets punched in the mouth and comes back swinging we've got a dance. If they fall down and curl up into the fetal position, well we've been there before.

I'm not making a prediction either though because I don't know if we'll have the offense from Northwestern and Miami or Purdue and MacnCheese.

The thing we all have to remember is that nothing we do makes sense.

We are the goofiest team in America.

Consider the fact that in 2012 we were only allowing 2 scores per game to opponents in the previous 5 contests leading up to the B1G Championship game.

Then, in the blink of an eye, Wisconsin scores 10 TDs in one game on us. The same team that we beat earlier that season.

We have absolutely zero clue what's going to happen.

I expect the worst and I am hoping for the best. I have already warned the family about the 2:30 PM kickoff.

Wisconsin had 539 yards rushing in 2012 and Melvin Gordon ran the Jet Sweep. I suppose the best news is that most of the defense was not around in 2012 so they have no muscle memory of that game.

Wisconsin wins. My prediction is worse than psaboy. I am very pessimistic on this one.

Bigred472 and I are on the same page. Wisconsin wins it without much trouble.

Although, since the most of the Nebraska defense did not play in 2012, I actually do have a little hope.

Gregory, Collins, Valentine, McMullen, Gerry, Banderas, Anderson, Newby, Kalu, Rose, Cockrell, Love, and Keels, have no memory whatsoever.

And that's the big problem. And the onus is on the coaching staff (as always). I honestly don't believe there is that much difference in our talent and TCU's. Less than a handful of years ago they were in a two bit league and managed to get to the Rose Bowl and end up with a top ten ranking. Now, after a couple of years in a big boy league if everything plays out for them they're heading for the first playoff championship. Why? They have a coaching staff (on BOTH sides of the ball) that know what the fuck they're doing).

I want us to win, but don't see it happening.

I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with being located in one of the recruiting hotbeds of America.

Nebraska has enough talent to beat everybody.

We definitely aren't hurting in that category.

How do you guys think we would stack up in the big twelve?

Third or fourth IMO. I think we are better then KSU pro ally better then ou. TCU and Baylor might give UA a run for our money.

This weekend is the season. If our boys don't have it figured out by now.. this is a must win game I don't think our players appreciate what former players have done to build a program like Nebraska.

The purdont game hammered that home for me when it took three trays to get into the end zone.our boys had at least 50pounds on Purdue's d-line and we couldn't get a inch if mila kun is sweet ass was in that end zone. Thanks Suh
