David and I in the niners board talked about devils trading for Corey in which David said it wasn't a good trade and/or Corey isn't as good as advertised...

I'll take a shutout vs the Rangers

if you were really watching the Rangers were beyond horrible.....Corey didnt see many shots due to the Ranger ineptness and Hank was horrible, we have a Jekyll and Hyde team. You won by the lack of effort on the Rangers. Schneider against other teams really isnt strong at all if he was the canucks would not have dismissed his services to begin with

Cory Schneider played well but the Devils probably would've shut the Rangers out even if they started Jeff Frazee in net instead. For some reason the Rangers like to keep the puck up against the wall whenever they're on offense. Not a good place to keep the puck if you want to score .

no i didnt see the game but my devils were the only team not to win a game til last night...

we're pretty bad and don't sleep on Corey. I can't explain Van's decision to part with Corey other than they got a top 10 pick and trimmed the $ at goalie.

rangers and devils are both in trouble but for different reasons......Those Ranger/Devil games are usually good for both teams that was one of the worst and somebody had to win

I figured(and maybe most Devils fans would despite the pain it causes in the skin lol) the Rangers would cuz we've blown leads after leads or just flat out fail from the first puck drop

i could tell the rangers were not going to win by the way they were bringing the puck up theice and not getting any shots or pressure and when Hank gives up goals early the rangers usually lose. Hank doesnt see the shot coming from above the circles for some reason even when ther isnt a screen.
