Is the LA market really that bad media wise? Guess I always thought of them as soft. Cause they had a radio host who was a former Trojan made a semi negative comment about Pete Carroll and he basically got expelled from coming around SC until Carroll was gone.Bro really said he was open to mid markets because of media circuses and then picks LA, lulz.
LA is certainly a “big” market, but it’s hardly a baseball market. LA is a Lakers town primarily and the fans are very casual/distant. People certainly aren’t sports-obsessed the same way they might be in Philly, New York or Boston, for example. I would guess Sasaki can just walk down the streets of LA without even being recognized. He would be swarmed in a town like New York.Bro really said he was open to mid markets because of media circuses and then picks LA, lulz.
