23 first downs... 200 yards rushing... It was a bad day for our defense... Rams just didn't capitalize on opportunities... We were fortunate to get that win...

They didn't capitalize because the Seahawks red zone defense is freaking awesome... Did you know that last year offenses were more likely to turn the ball over (8) than they were to score a TD (7) once in the RZ.

I remember how tight the game was and the rams moving the ball. But I cant be critical of the defense when they give up single digit points. A bad day for the defense was the Colts game.

My brother and I just landed in SD. Some more friends will be joining us tomorrow. Every year we do a road game.. I wanted KC, but I was overruled...

Lets not forget that this is San Diegos season opener so its going to be sold out and loud and this team is pissed off that it blew a 17-6 lead against arizona last monday so we have to be ready dont take any team in the NFL lightly i dont care if its the oakland raiders, jaguars, or giants we need to take these games one week at a time.

Rams game in my opinion was worse... Colts benefited from allot of bad call's that day... Rams game we didn't come to play and got ran over by some unknown running back and a back-up qb ... We didn't respect the Rams that day and it almost bite us... When a team rushes for 200 yards you usually lose ...

Zuerlein also missed a 50 yard field goal in the 4th quarter in that game. If he had made it, the Rams would have been able to kick a FG to win on the last drive instead of needing a TD.

I may have too much confidence but I really think we win this game easily.

SD has nobody that scares me if I'm the Hawks defense who has shown they can beat anyone on their own. Rivers is emotional and not mobile. Gates had hands of stone against Arizona, who doesn't have the secondary we do. Ryan Matthews IMO is the closest they have to a threat and I think we'll gameplan to shut him down and make Rivers beat our All Pro secondary.

The Chargers have the potential to be dangerous. They know another 0-2 start is going to douse fan enthusiasm. This is their season (already).

I'd like to think the Seahawks win in a big fashion, but the Chargers were a play off team last year and this is their home opener. They are going to want this game bad and should put forth their best effort.
Looking forward to watching and I'm not making any predictions beyond a win for the Seahawks.
