great win. But Marv is a liability. Playing the clock after Dunlap (that panty waste bum) forced a fumble then recovered it is unforgiveable. You have to play for 6. Either way, you're putting the game on your D. The difference is that if you get the 6 it's pretty much the ball game. If you are aggresive and say have three straight incompletions the situation is pretty much the same. You still get the FG. So while very happy with the win, very concerned about the approach at the end of the game. Better teams will beat you if you give them that opportunity.

But winning a game on the road when you don't play well is the sign of a good team. Good team. Lousy HC.

If Pittsburgh also wins 3/4, then we miss out. They have the tie-breaker.

Edit: that one loss cannot be against the Ravens and then we'd actually have the tie-breaker winning the conference tie-breaker.

Indy has Houston twice. Who knows when the Steelers get Ben back. All the Bengals can do is play well. Everything else will take care of itself. Gotta give Zimmer credit, I don't think the D has much talent after the front 4 but I think Zimmer is getting the best out of his personnel...which is all you can ask for out of a coach.

agreed. But any way you cut it if you dont get 6 you're putting the game on the D. So why not go for the win? The Bengals approach on that last possesion was so conservative that they were pretty much conceeding 4 points to run some clock. If I was rooting for the Chargers I would've appreciated that approach.
