Series Notes: The HEAT and Spurs meet for the first of two match-ups this season. Last season, Miami swept the season-series, 2-0, and has now won four-straight regular season games against San Antonio. The HEAT is 17-34 all-time versus the Spurs in the regular season, including 14-12 in games played in Miami and 3-22 in games played in San Antonio.

I was impressed with Oden last night. His stat line wasnt bad, 5pts, 5reb in 10 min. If you watched, he missed on a few easy baskets on tip ins and dunks that he normally could make. And he missed about 5 rebounds from just not timing it right. It was in position and everything just doesnt have his legs under him yet. He could have had a double double in those 10 minutes he played. If he can bring that to the table, this team will find a whole new level. Plus with him out there or even Birdman together with Bosh, Bosh is able to go back to the 4 and play at what he knows. Its clear Bosh doesnt like the Center positon but does it because we need him there. Hopefully, Miami finds their way and can start to close the gap between us and Indiana

A stellar performance by the scrub Shane Battier - starting the game, played 19 minutes which is too much - took one shot obviously from 3 because he is one dimensional on offense 2 lucky blocks on two weak shots put up by the Spurs and his usual 2 fouls because he is a horrible defender.
