Especially since he had dinged his leg.

But the real problem is we can't generate any pass rush with just 4. None. We need playmakers on defense. We have plenty of average players. Jarvis is a good example. Does an adequate job at the LOS in not giving up ground. He ties up a blocker to two. But he hasn't made a significant play all year. He can't sniff a sack. We need a DE that can make a big play when we need it. Can dig down in certain situations (like 4th and 11 yesterday) and blow past his guy to disrupt tony. I don't care who you are, when you give tony romo 7-9 seconds to find a receiver, he will kill you. That's what happened in the 4th qtr yesterday. And before someone says Rak was not in there, Jackson was and he was the only one that actually beat his man eventually (Smith) and forced tony to move in the pocket.

do you get that because a blitz failed that it really doesnt concern me but when you play passive defense it infuriates me ? why are we not taking advantage of an injured qb and forcing mistakes ?

You blitz. It's simple. It forces the ball out of the QBs hand and all you have to do it tackle.
