I doubt he out produces Stafford and I am not Matty's biggest fan. Defense and run game will carry them not Hill.

Hill had decent numbers in Detroit as did anyone throwing to CJ. No CJ in ST.Louis. He was 3-4 and Clemens was 4-5 so don't really see Hill as being a savior.

He was decent as a starter(when needed) in SF as well. In 18 games with them as a starter he threw 23 TDs to 11 ints for almost 3,500 yds. Hardly all world numbers but I think he has enough tools to keep St. Louis in it. Their D will also help them out. I still don't see them winning the West anyway.

Shaun Hill will be fine, he has a team around him. Too bad he's in the toughest division.....Probably a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

He's a scrappy, savvy veteran who can execute an offense and minimize mistakes, but he won't win many games by himself.

Good enough to win with a good squad, but not a game-changer. Should be a great leader, though. Very tough and gutsy guy from what I saw. The taking on defenders head-first without a helmet on is pretty respectable conduct for a QB, imo...

I'm pretty sure their banner took a bigger hit than their team did.

Amen to this. The Rams front 4 is the best in the league right now. With Quinn and Long on the outside and Brockers and Langford inside. They were arguably the best in the NFL before drafting Aaron Donald -- adding Donald, if he performs like many expect will make them the best front 4 by a wide margin.

Hill is going to be asked to be a game manager -- he isn't going to be asked to win games on his own.

All of the above is spot on. :agree:
