Its how it's always been his has SOS as the number 1 factor in determining rankings IIRC... I agree it's weird that he has Wisconsin over us considering we beat them, but they've played a far tougher schedule...

Doesn't really matter as the lowest Computer is dropped anyway...

Washington at 10 and NDSU is #30. Texas and Miami are right behind NDSU, lol

The green numbers are the ones that matter for the BCS. The other ones are more of the "power ranking" variety, in so much as what his numbers believe a team is capable of.

So for practical purposes, Sagarin's ratings are:

FSU
Bama
Stanford
Baylor
Ohio State

and so on

This is what I love about the infallible computer rankings. They are totally unbiased and completely reliable.

The computers are ALWAYS producing wild results in mid-season.

They use incomplete data.

Strength of Schedule is unbalanced especially if teams have backloaded or frontloaded schedules.

The computers don't correct for that time element until all the data is collected.

As the season progresses, the computers draw nearer and nearer to the human polls.

There is always comedic gold in mid-season computer ranks, but the end of the season computer ranks are very similar to the humans.

They are funny however sometimes.....especially early in the season....

Sagarin especially produces some funny results early in the season...
