Redskins signed S David Bruton, formerly of the Broncos, to a three-year, $9 million contract.

It's a nice signing for a team that received arguably the league's worst safety play in 2015. Bruton has been a key reserve for the Broncos since 2009, and was having a strong 2015 before breaking his leg late in the year. Bruton is a core special teamer who should be one of the Redskins' top three safeties in 2016.

Slow deliberate moves our GM is making. This move is all about locker room culture and special teams at the moment.

Solid. Hopefully he is the next Will Blackmon or Mason Foster at safety. He was a captain for the Super Bowl winning Broncos the last 3 years. 3 year, $9M is not bad. Broncos wanted him back. Low expectations but decent value with upside. 6'2, 217 lbs, 28 yrs

"Broncos worked to keep Bruton, even matching the Redskins' offer. Came down to playing time."

Hopefully the Ravens release Will Hill and we can sign him to play Free Saftey.
