I met the dad when the son was in LA.
Way before any of this.
He was nice enough, maybe because I was there as Luc's guest ( I won a contest but Jack Sr didn't know that).
My wife after said, " well, Jake's dad is enjoying his son's success"
The reason was that the dad talked about, golfing, parties with celebrities, talking with Sid on the phone, redecorating and cars. We didn't think it was a big deal, just looking back it was odd.

While a grain of salt should be utilized when you realize it's the creditors saying he knew and not the investigators... if he is granted a chapter 7, then they don't get paid in full. So it's in their best interest to try and keep it a chapter 11, but still...

Might explain why the Jackets thought they needed a D-man this summer. If it's found out that he wasn't a total victim after all...
