You got a nice win, there is no reason to lie to make us Sabres fans feel better.

What sucks is this game was much closer than the score but some will see the score and say WOW the Pens kicked their ass.

OH well, again nice win Pens....congrats.

Edit: What sucks is two goals went in off of skates that the goalie had no chance on. Like they say, you need to be good to be lucky and lucky to be good.

I hate to bitch but they just showed the incident with Crosby and Weber, Weber checked Crosby and Crosby punched him in the mouth. He went after Crosby and then Kunitz came in (third man in an altercation?) But for some unknown reason the Sabres ended up short handed. Jeez!

Ruff just ripped his team in the post game conference. He basically said we sucked, the PP wasn't good enough and we didn't have the intensity from our best players.

He pointed out Hecth, Roy and Vanek also a few others. Aside from the score the Sabres could have won the damn game.

Oh well.

Luck and some good PKing (and goaltending) won the game for the Guins tonight. Gave up far too many PPs for my liking, and were thoroughly outshot because of it. Michalek had a solid game on the back end (really just got unlucky with the 2nd goal rebound), and Jeffery looks very natural in an NHL lineup. Great, physical game. I think the refs *may* have let things go a little too much in the early parts of the game, leading to some nasty play towards the end. Lots of stuff just ignored on their part. Good match Sabres fans...just work on that PP and you're golden.

Understandable boss...the score doesn't do the game justice. The Sabres once again (just like last game) had all the opportunities and PPs, just couldn't quite put the puck in the back of the net. For some reason I can't be as angry with Buffalo games...I seriously have some soft spot for them.
