This 2nd period has just been brutal for the Sabres considering how they played in the 1st.

Giroux needs to stop setting him up down there. Miller's taking away the bottom whenever the puck gets near him and Briere has no room to elevate. Get a rebound, sure, but you aren't gonna get it with the hard pass; Briere takes too long to control it.
