My reasoning is that even though his skate interfered there is no way that Markstrom could have gotten to that puck. I'm ok with those types of calls.

To summarize, he conceded Markstrom couldn’t have made the save on the actual Edler kick that put the puck in the net.

But he would have stopped the puck from getting to Edler if his right pad was not interfered with:
