And they were reasonably certain neither Buffalo or Detroit would be playing.

i despise anytime i have to watch the wings on nbc because that usually means i have to listen to edzo complain about subtle interference all game long. but now i realize it most likely won't be him calling the game tonight because he did the game earlier on nbc today. would still much rather be able to watch it on fox sports detroit

IPrior to this game, I said to my daughter that it is normally the personality of the Wings to play with both a poor performance as well as a shit attitude after they beat very good teams in their previous couple of games, and that I hoped that I was wrong because some of the younger guys on this team haven't shown that character since they've been there. But, as is usually the case, they came out with several rolls of toilet paper instead.
