They ran 1000 computer generated seasons based on some stats they don't explain. Not saying I believe these numbers, just thought it was funny that the Kings have better numbers than the Wings to win the cup.
I am guessing that the Kings having winning records against the Wings and Nucks (until the 31st at least) helped their numbers in the post season.

I would imagine it has to do with numbers down the stretch maybe too?

On another page they have it broken down by month and LA was better in March than Detroit, so maybe that gets weighted differently.

sorry to tangent back towards topic, here but as of today this site has dropped the Kings in almost every chance (except making playoffs). Kopitar's loss will be felt.
