That was a classic. My favourite Ryder Cup to watch along with 1999.

Even if Stricker had won his pairing Tiger had two shots to win his & blew it. Tiger had a horrible Ryder Cup. There was talk that he shouldn't have played on Sunday. He was that bad.

Since it didn't matter, it's tough to say if he would have made the putt he needed to win the match or not. He missed a 3-footer when he knew it didn't matter anyway. I have a hard time believing he misses that putt if the Cup is on the line.
That said, yeah, he stunk. People are going to criticize Stricker more b/c he was a Captain's pick. At the end of the day, the team takes the loss. Almost everyone on that team could have done something more during the weekend - save maybe Bradley and Dustin Johnson.

Only problem with that is everybody has to play on Sunday, unless you're suggesting Tiger default his match.
