Was hoping if the Lions went with a WR in round 1 that Shazier could be an option in round 2. I'm guessing that is out the window after he was clocked unofficially with a 4.36 40 at 6'1" 237 lbs at his pro day.

Couple that with a 42" vertical and 140 tackles this past year and I'm guessing Shazier won't be seeing the 2nd round.

Im hoping for him or Kyle Van Noy the latter being the more realistic option

:10:

He was my 2nd choice at LB, after VanNoy, for the 2nd round....Check him (Shazier) off my draft wish list

Crazy how high he ended up going.

We could have drafted him at #10 and converted him into a slot CB/rush OLB and really fucked with the opposing offense. Between he and Van Noy's versatility and Levy and Tully's coverage abilities we would could have ran on helluva a 4-4 defense, 1 safety, 2 CBs...
