...and will work games on ESPN2 and ESPNU with Clay Matvick.

I'm not sure how hard I should be laughing.

in all seriousness, i'm pretty impressed that guy pulled himself up by his bootstraps because after his massive failure in the NFL, it was looking like his life story was not going to end well .....

Most people deserve a second chance.

Guy was a great college QB and a total bust in the NFL. He wasn’t the first and he won’t be the last.

He engaged in some pretty self-destructive behavior afterward.

If it humbled him he deserves a shot.

Imagine him and Spurrier together with like Bob Wischusen. That’d be awesome

Leaf will have more trials. He'll never defeat his demons longterm. He can't just walk away from them and be done with them like, say, Robert Downey Jr did. He is more like Doc Gooden. They will always come back into his life from time to time.

I think this is more like his fourth or fifth chance.

Yes. Prescription opiates. He's been arrested for breaking into houses on at least two occasions.
Did not know that. I wish him well, hope he is successful @ ESPN and most importantly stays clean!
