John Keim:Ryan Grant declined a media request the other day so I'm not sure how much he's added. What I had heard, though, is that he worked awfully hard in the weight room, so there should be improvement in this area. But he was really far behind so it could take another offseason to get where he truly needs to be. The nice part for Grant is he runs such good routes that he can create separation, though if defenders are patient vs. him and physical then it's tough on Grant. In several matchups vs. David Amerson earlier in the week, Grant had some success because of his route running. But when Amerson was up and physical, there wasn't much separation. However, he's a guy I'm curious to see develop because the route running is so mature.
i think kiem is right when he says we will see the best of ryan grant in year 3 . this year looks like another year of seasoning but i like his progress. he was a 5th rounder and he is doing what i expect out of one probably more
