Up to 9I think I just saw 7 a few minutes ago.
Strength in numbers?Up to 9
Strength in numbers?
who said we are in win now mode ? we are a 7 -9 football team trying to improve
Few teams if any, ever tank games or seasons, thus they are all always in a "win now" mode. I know that it doesn't seem realistic considering the fact that an honest evaluation tells some that the odds are against it. There's an old edict that reminds us that "on any given Sunday..." (insert Thursday and Monday as necessary) Coaches , their staffs and players are quickly replaced when there's not a win now attitude resulting in wins... well... now! For those who have never participated in organized or paid team sports, take the word of this guy...Alex Smith in his last year with the Chiefs didn’t win playoff games, but by not starting Mahomes, it showed they were in win now mode. If Washington believes in TH, they are in win now mode with TH developing. Next year would be a prove it (prove enough) year for TH. If they don’t believe in TH, I still think Fitzpatrick can win some here and help the future with the rest of the team.
I am not ready to write him off nor am I ready to anoint him . I will say he has a damn lot to proveFew teams if any, ever tank games or seasons, thus they are all always in a "win now" mode. BTW: Taylor Heinicke is a good story, it was real nice to see him come in and contribute in that play-off game, but if you're looking for the next grocery store bagger to NFL star like Warner, Taylor Heinicke is not it. Actually he's been around and hasn't impressed enough to convince anyone that he's more than a one hit wonder. He'll get his chance, but we have to remember, those who know him best, have repeatedly told us that they are still looking for the answer, even going as far as signing a 12 year journeyman after signing Heinicke to a backup type contract. If they believed in him why do any of this extra stuff, or announce that they are still in search for their long term answer at the position?
