We're running out of options. Want the Broncos to get to the draft in a position to draft impact players vs. need only. Better than anything currently on our roster.

I'm guessing Whitworth is still in play - so if the Broncos sign him - the Broncos will have Whitworth, Leary, Paradis, Garcia and Watson. as starters. That would be a highly credible Oline with three all stars. I'd say the Broncos need a top tackle from the top three in the draft to supplement the starters and groom the next LT. The Broncos will also need to hedge their bets on Max Garcia - if you ask me - and get some talent that fits their system for OG as well.

Seems like the offensive guard position is a little better than tackle in this year's draft. Could go after Lamp.

With Leary the interior of our line is pretty solid. Our T's are terrible. Beyond Terrible. A trade for Thomas is the only way of reasonably fixing that. I would give up Barrett and our 2nd

Watson is solid when healthy. Talent with him has never been the big concern. He also said that coming to Denver was in big part because they have become known as an organization that helps injured players get their bodies right.

Something I think people need to keep in mind is that this OL fix was never going to be just a 1-year project. This is going to take some time. We won't be a top-10 unit this next year. WE can however be a better unit than last year. AT least we now have some big uglies on the OL to push some people around.

As for the Thomas trade. I doubt it happens. The Browns have pretty much worked to revamp their OL and make it a strength of the team. So can't see them then going and trading the best player they have on the OL.

Not what I like to hear. I mean I knew it was going to happen as the guy deserves a huge chance go to make his mark on the league for his ability on defense. So wish him well and appreciate his time with the Broncos.
