This new front office is a joke. We just spent precious cap room on castaways who graded out poorly for their positions.

I honestly think we took a step back today and hurt our chances of making a big improvement this year.

If Rivera keeps up this circus, he will be gone in 3 years. You can't come out of the gates like this. If we are wasting our time courting lame free agents, how in the world are we supposed to attract good young talent here.

We get an F today.

Surprisingly, I agree with the oft-addled gkekoa.

Blowing a lot of money on 2-3 players got the redskins nowhere, for years.

it’s been one day. Give it a rest. Let RR follow his plan.

If you read my plan for the team, I proposed that we not blow all of our money on 2-3 players but build using younger players and spread out the cap space. My goal was to build through the draft.

I would have signed a better player than Schweitzer for depth. He graded out as one of the worst guards.

If we are looking at Bostic to be our starting MLB then Rivera should be fired on the spot. He graded out as below average and cannot tackle and is on his 3rd team already, Martinez is a much better option as was Kwiatkoski. The stats prove this.

Of course Rivera can pull a rabbit out of his hat tomorrow and make trades, etc. At this point, he and Smith appear to want to tread water and dumpster dive more than improving the team. Players still want out (TW and Dunbar Kerrigan has no business being on the books.

I honestly expect a 4 win team with another top 5 pick next year. Its like groundhog day all over again.

Fant is gone. That means the TW window is gettng slimmer and also makes me think we need to get a LT soon. Its almost time to push the panic button on that LT situation.

Did your plan anticipate ereck freakin’ flowers going for $30 million to the dolphins?

Bostic was average. He got paid as such. It isnt like the redskins have a clown show for a coaching staff this year. The head coach and d coordinator are both defensive guys. RR was on the 85 Bears for crissakes!

I didn't have us resigning Flowers actually. Not a big fan of his. I started a post with FA plans last week.

Honestly, I’m pretty glad the skins lost out on Cooper too. $20 million is a LOT of money to pay a dude that disappears some of the year. Didnt somebody already say that he sucks on the road?
