no chance in hell they release him would be down Breeland ,Fuller and Norman
So are you saying our front office is above making dumb moves??![]()
wouldn't surprise me with Allen dude is a fucking moron
no chance in hell they release him would be down Breeland ,Fuller and Norman
You comments speak for your lack of knowledge of the area. If you want to see what Rousinni broke then look it up. I love when guys who do not live here think they know more than people that are here day in and day out. For the record I was originally skeptical of Roussinni but she proved me wrong.
Dukes is okay, he and the Junkies are shock jocks aka DJs. They are good at what they do which is make a lot of noise. Yep the Junks have their own lingo and I don't buy into it but a lot of people here do.
Giving any of these people too much credit is silly. Most didn't play sports at all. You are hitting a little above the Mendoza line on who is actually sports or in this case football knowledgeable. Most couldn't draw up a trap or explain zone/man high low concepts. I am willing to bet 80% of football fans can't explain either without Google.
Of course I told you once it is smart not to wave around the "dumb" or "stupid" flag unless you really know what you are talking about.
Rousinni - however she did it, got the news
McHenry - I think she showed what she knew when she went to ESPN ... not much
Tandler - hillbilly but he understands the game
Mike Jones - he is pretty solid
Steinberg - eh
Junks - shock jocks and No. 1 in the area
Dukes - shock jock and No. 2 or 3 in the area
Russell - M O R O N
Chick is a great guy but it is important to remember that he like the Junks and Dukes are entertainers
People you didn't mention:
Keim - pretty solid, he at least played football
Grant Paulsen - not great but I like him
Craig Hoffman - out fucking standing
Al Galdi - pretty good, better at baseball
Sheehan - not bad, not great ... over shadowed by Cooley
Czaban is Russell's M O R O N brother
Thom Loverro is very good but he is doing bit parts and writing for the Times
Mike Phillips - Richmond - very solid read
you realize its 2018 right? You can listen to the radio stations without living in the area and there is this thing called twitter where every single reporter or personality posts, writes articles, and breaks stories before talking about it on the air....
not to mention I worked down in that humid hell hole for nearly a year and through the entire offseason last year... often commuting upwards of 2.5 hours one way to travel 15-20 miles with a lot of radio to listen to and keep my sanity.
Now I get it. The humidity is awful, the traffic is unbearable on the brink of unlivable, the cost of living is high and frankly not worth it for what you are getting (NYC/Philly 1000x more desirable places to live), and the sports teams suck so I understand why you are a prick.
oh yeah and I have immediate family who have been living in Southern Maryland for over 15 years... you know what they say about making assumptions..
so what has Rousinni broke? what makes her reputable? she reported a lot of bullshit and dot connecting during the RG3 and Shanny years.
As to the other guy you mentioned I know most of them.
Keim - okay but arrogant as hell and works for ESPN so I rarely read his stuff.
Grant and Danny - not a fan. My hellish commute would usually come to an end as their show started and it worked out well, though they would get some good interviews in when they werent providing shitty takes with annoying voices.
Hoffman - I agree he is pretty good.
Galdi - dont really know much
Sheehan and Cooley - I didnt listen to much. Cooley is one of my top 5 favorite redskins but he works for Snyder and their shit is obviously skewed.
Czban - dont know anything about
Loverro - I've read a few of his pieces. I dont feel one way or the other about him.
Phillips - I like
I agreed with a lot of what you posted here. However - you lost me on this one:
Philly 1000x more desirable than the DC area?
You must be joking. I don't live there anymore - born in Philly - raised in No VA, but I doubt that you will get much agreement on this from any folks outside of the Philly area. Sure - like many populated areas - there are issues with cost of living & traffic. However - the DC area has a lot to offer & is not the "hell hole" that you portray in your reply. Oh well - agree to disagree.
and the humidity in the summer is brutal! The chesapeake and Potomac are grossssss. My sibling has a 2nd house on the potomac. The water in the summer gets grossly hot, cloudy, super salty, and mud bottoms. I literally felt like I was swimming in piss water.
beautiful area, get away though. I also found it really charming. The poorest of the poor rednecks live on the island year round right next to Trent Williams house and other million dollar homes. It was a real melting pot of wealth.
and amazing food
I am rolling on the floor because most of what you have said is not true. I like Philly but it is a much different city than DC. There is so much do here. 2 hours to the beach unless you have a Bay beach like me. Every time you post you show you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground about this area. But hey, everyone is entitled to be stupid.
Just so you know I have spent hours and hours on the Bay, and the Potomac ... both upper and lower. You are just way, way off base here.
As for commuting ... I commute two hours each way from southern MD to DC. Again you got nothing on me there.
Long story short this is my final post here because we have gone off on a tangent from the thread. Enjoy the nice weather, take a chill pill .. it has been fun spinning your up.![]()
In 2018, Norman is set to make 13.5M in salary, 437K in roster bonus. He has a cap number of 16.937M. Cutting/trading him would only save you about 5M b/c of the 9M remaining in prorated signing bonus money and cutting/trading him next season would only save you 5.5M. I don't think Norman is going anywhere. What's Norman salary this year like 18 mill
