If you are like me, and still insane enough to be rooting for this team. This series, at home vs KC, coming off of losing 3 of 4 to them? It's not even a question. They HAVE to play well and take 2/3 AT MINIMUM.

got the first one. kopech pitched an absolute gem. don't know why he can't throw like this every time. 24 batters 24 outs. graveman takes care of 3 straight in the 9th.

They're still demoralizing as all hell, but... there's some good things happening. It doesn't appear like they'll be COMPLETELY helpless forever. They're Hendricks and Eloy away from being "healthy" (Grandal doesn't seem to need an IL stint). I'm sure, though, that someone will go down before they get back.

Would just like to see this team have a nice stretch here against divisional foes and see what they look like if they can actual sustain some semblance of health for once.

anderson is acceptable as a starter if he hits .300. but he's now at .250 and looking like shit in the infield. that is NOT acceptable.
hoping montgomery hurries his ass up to the sox.

6th inning bases loaded no outs. i figure nobody scores and vaughn looked horrible striking out but my man burger smacks a double to clear the bases. finally!

in other news ... tim now at .246 and still looking terrible.

Me, still having massive doubt but still enjoying seeing bits of happiness out of my SB White Sox peeps after we drop a few wins:

So far we're 4-1 on a stretch of 13 consecutives games against division opponents, altho after tomorrow's series conclusion with the Royals, the remaining 7 of those games are on the road against Cleve & Det. No getting around it, we have to complete this stretch with a winning record.

first sweep ... which they sorely needed. pretty happy with this game except for moncada not hustling on a play.
kelly looks like a different pitcher from the one i've hated for so long. pitching has been altogether very good.
