3 guys coming up that are all below the mendoza line. What could go wrong?
The Mendoza line ain't what it used to be.3 guys coming up that are all below the mendoza line. What could go wrong?
Or teach better hitting fundamentals. Uppercut approach swinging for the fences is the answer. The Mendoza line ain't what it used to be.
They need lower the mound. It has been obviously necessary for a few years now.
Maybe........but it seems that pitching has just moved ahead of the batting.Or teach better hitting fundamentals. Uppercut approach swinging for the fences is the answer.
Agreed, but hitters copped out and decided collectively just to change their approach by going big swing. I guess they decided if you are going to go 1 for 4 or 1 for 5 you might as well get the most of that one hit.Maybe........but it seems that pitching has just moved ahead of the batting.
Next year when the shift goes away the league average will jump up at least 10 points.Horrible fundamentals by Toro on that tag at 3B.
In all fairness, Toro has been .242 in his time with the M's. Not great, but servicable. That inning:
Toro .217 lifetime avg.
JRod .192
Kelenic .179
Raleigh .172
That would help.Next year when the shift goes away the league average will jump up at least 10 points.
Take away his first 11 games with Seattle and he is only batting .209. That is not serviceable. That is young Mariner esque. In all fairness, Toro has been .242 in his time with the M's. Not great, but servicable.
