Unless your name is the LA Kings, typically the eventual Stanley Cup winner has at least one 4-5 game series.

There have been no sweeps so far and TB has been the first to advance in each of the first two rounds.

Frick'in Kings for ruining a great stat, but I guess technically they did have their short series in the SCF's?

Anyway going back to that logic, which worked every other year since playoff expansion, right now only the Lightning, Sharks or Penguins have won a short series.
