I think we’re fine on kicking, we can bring Lutz back he was good enough. Yeah he had a miss today but he was pretty automatic the entire year.

The one thing that really irked me from the refs today was that unsportsmanlike penalty on Mims. I was baffled they didn't flag the Bills player not for the hit, which was fine, but for taunting afterward by standing over Mims the way he was. The crew gets that call right and who knows how the half ends.

But whatever. Can't expect a Bill Vinovich crew to get it right when calling a Broncos game.

That or a TE who can be a mismatch. It’s remarkable the Broncos offense managed the PPG they did without that and a a real threat RB.

I think that’s a reflection on Nix. We have something with him, something we’ve not had in a long time.

I agree about Nix. We definitely need a TE. RB is more imperative imo. I can’t remember the last time a RB ran for over 100 yards in a game. If we want to take this offense to the next level and actually help Nix out the most, a bonafide RB is the answer.

Like Jimmy G was great for the Raiders? VJ would be a horrible hire. You just don't want him as the Denver DC anymore.

Great season overall and exceeded my expectations with a bright future ahead so not all that bummed by a pretty poor performance yesterday.

Over the offseason Nix and Payton need to figure out how to be more consistent and that probably means a new RB, new TE and another WR. They have moments like the first drive then do absolutely nothing the rest of the game which is frustrating.

The defense is a bit of fools gold. They actually need quite a few upgrades as against good teams this wasn't a good defense. They feasted on lesser teams but you have to beat good teams to advance and the defense was bad when the competition was good. Need to completely revamp the ILB spot, need more help on the DL as the run defense was leaky against good backs and OL's, need to improve at Safety (PJ isn't good enough and Key as depth was a joke), and more depth at CB is also needed.

Great success story, but more is needed to take the next step and really compete next year. Looking forward to offseason with some cap space and the draft with a mostly full cupboard.

Yeah, been saying they have been a bit of fools gold all year. Bo Nix a bit of that too but the defense has really looked awful against all of the top QBs with the exception of Mahomes that one game, but he wasn't playing well all year pretty much.

I mean even Jameis Winston lit up the Broncos with Jeudy. They were pushed around yesterday by Mcgovern and company

Well, the playoff was awful. But, it's at least the Broncos finally got into the playoffs which has been awhile.

Skattebo will be an average at best back in the NFL. He doesn't have the athleticism to juke NFL defenders and also won't be able to run over NFL defenders like he did in college. Maybe in the 4th but he won't be a 1a back in the NFL and this offense needs a 1a RB.
