Good game, assholes. I actually felt like we played better, but we have Mason and you have Holtby and apparently that's an enormous difference. Is this what it was like for the Penguins in the 2012 series? Those goals were stoppable shots - or in the second goal's case, stoppable icings. Only one I wouldn't put on Mason was OV's, which was admittedly goddamn terrifying.

The refs were less shitty this game, though still incredibly shitty in novel ways. I don't think I've ever seen a team carry the puck across two zones and then get called for a penalty, but hey, NHL refs. What can you do?

If there's a bright side Flyers fans it's that in my experience Steve Mason is cool and calm under fire and reacts to adversity EXTREMELY well. I've never seen a goalie who can let a mistake just roll off his back like he can.
