Anyone use their custom settings to rank players? I messed around with it a little today and just surprised at the rankings

Got one league that does .05 pass completions, .1 rushing attempt and .05 pass caught with 1 QB, 2 RB and 2 WR and 4 bench and they have 16 RBs before Calvin Johnson at 17; just hard to believe drafting guys like CJ Spiller and Reggie Bush above him and taking Bishop Sankey and Joique Bell above Peyton Manning?

Never done this type of league before, usually auctions or standard scoring

My own league comes out with about 28 QB's before the first RB, obviously QB sites big in our league but that doesn't mean Jay Cutler is more valuable than Shady McCoy.. just means he'll score more. . But so will 27 other QB's.. The thing to keep in mind isn't the overall ranking, but the point spread in between say Calvin and the next WR. Calvin may score, or project to score, less than a Spiller in that league, but if threes a significant gap between he and the next WR.. or perhapsthe little cluster of he, Marshall, Dez, Thomas, and Green, have a significant gap between them and the next tier of WR's.. that gives them me value in your lineup then say grabbing 2 of the projected better RB's, and ending up with squat at WR.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

I think its a premium feature? (And I don't pay for fantasy football.)

I play in one league that rewards return yardage the same as rushing/receiving. So savvy owners will go after guys like T.Y. Hilton, Antonio Brown, and Patterson fairly early. And even in the later rounds, some may want to take a chance on sleepers, but in this league guys like Hester and Keshawn Martin are getting drafted for having more return yardage than some guys have receiving or rushing yards.

Just shows that you need to pay attention to your league rules.
