I'm just happy to see the Lions cutting guys that may get picked up elsewhere. At the end of the Millen era they kept guys who prolly couldn't make a CFL team.

I'm still saying it has to be a 5-6 win season for Mayhew to be fired. The roster is the deepest since the Fontes era IMO.

It is a talented roster but I'm nervous about the DL. Ngata has not played yet, on the wrong side of 30 and is unclear if he will be available week 1. If he is able to make it through and even play at 85-90% of his peak, we should be fine. Heard a lot of smoke about Reid but haven't seen any splash plays since he's been hurt. Looks like one would have to take quite a leap of faith to say they feel comfortable with that unit.

Sure I'm nervous, but I'm liking what Hunt and Cudjo have brought to the unit. That's if Cudjo can make it. Have not checked final cuts. I feel the LBs and DBs are solid(Mathis staying healthy) will be key. I am still worried about passing downs. We will know a lot more after first three games once we see Ngata and Jason playing.

Not big on starters returning. AA is dynamic for sure on kick offs. Just rather see someone else.

TJ will be doing punt returns, don't feel you have to hope much OL.

I actually don't feel Cudjo is/was borderline. Just feel he is odd man out with Reid and Wright being high picks to be released or making it to PS.

Ross getting cut makes me so happy. I don't mind Broyles and Faria getting cut now. I still have to watch Fuller choking on ball sack every time he tries to track a deep pass but at least I don't have to watch him and Ross take turns gargling balls.
