While Rory was very deserving, clearly this was some subtle pushback on the comments Koepka has made about PGAT events. Don't bite the hand that's feeding you is the message I got.

After the PGA gave there award to Brooks ...Instead of focusing who may receive the next award, I was looking at who was giving it.

I never realized it myself until after Brooks won the award is the fact the PGA Tour lives in an non Major world.
There bread is buttered on regular PGA Tour events.

There vote for Rory was also a vote for there own interests.

Yep...the PGAT is the mainstay of all pro golf tours in the world. The largest purses, TV contracts, etc, but they are missing that shiny thing called a major.

I think it was Koepka dissing the PGAT that won it for Rory....keep his mouth shut and I think he would've taken both awards.
