Jets took home both rookie of the year awards with Garrett Wilson winning over Kenneth Walker and Sauce Gardner over Tariq Woolen. I may be biased but I thought Seattle's rookies shoulda won, but it is what it is. Seemed pretty obvious Woolen wouldn't win when Gardner was given first team All Pro honors while Woolen didn't even make second team.

It would have been nice for the kids but ultimately I think it is more important that we had 4 rookies that were impact players and 2 more that were contributors. The Jets are still the Jets.

Eh no surprise... the irrelevant Jets.. bigger market, more money.. give them all the awards. Wilson played outstanding granted, but Walker did as well with two rookie OTs and one of the worst centers in the NFL.

Again zero surprise. And Sauce 'THE GRAB' Gardner is one of the most overrated cornerbacks to come into the NFL. Guy holds on nearly every play but because "NEW YORK" he gets a free pass. Again, 'cash is there we do not care' mentality... but it's pretty obvious.

I thought he deserved the award more than both Gardner and Woolen to be honest. I had him first and Woolen 2nd. Hutchinson was a wrecking ball and effected games more than these two players if you ask me.

He was the easy pick. He effected the game at a much higher rate than Gardner. I don’t know how votes in these awards but I would guess they don’t watch a whole lot of football
