Pretty neat having only 4 HOF each, changes it up a bit. IMO, UK1 has the stronger batting order, Milk2 has a little stronger rotation. I like UK1's bench better, and I think both bullpens are outstanding, with UK1's slightly better.

i got my team, and i don't see how UK can make the claim that his offense is better than mine, and the pitching is not even close...

I think my offense, bench and bullpen are better than yours. I will give you rotation, but not even close? I think Feller is the best pitcher for either side, though Grove is about a push as the #1. You clearly have the game two advantage with Gibson, a HOFer(Eck as my 2nd HOF pitcher wins me the pen),but JR Richard in his prime was just as tough as Guidry. I think my #4 Dave Stewart is better than yours in Steve Rogers, and I my #5 Trucks had 177 wins and a 3.39 ERA to Sid Fernandez and his 114 wins and 3.36 ERA, another push, at worst.

I started a thread a month ago saying how over-rated I think Eckersley was... and included the fact that I think Henke was the best relief pitcher pre-Mariano... But even if Eck is better than Henke, I still have an absolute stud, but that is still only one RP...

Yeah I do, and apparently, so does everyone who voted for the HOF
History lesson for you
On the surface, their numbers are similar
Gibson- 251/174, 2.91 ERA 3117 K's, 1 no hitter
Grove- 300/141, 3.06 ERA, 2266 K's 2X Triple Crown
Feller- 266/162, 3.25 ERA, 2581 K's, Triple Crown 7X K's champ, 3 no hitters

And then, there's the rest of the story

Feller at
20 yrs old- 24/9 2.85 ERA, 246 K's
21 yrs old- 27/11, 2.61 ERA, 261 K's
22 yrs old- 25/13, 3.15 ERA, 260 K's
23 yrs old- did not play/war
24 yrs old- did not play/war
25 yrs old- did not play/war
26 yrs old- made 9 starts, 5-3 2.50 ERA
27 yrs old- 26/15 2.18 ERA, 348 K's
28 yrs old- 20/11, 2.68 ERA, 196 K's

In other words, he missed nearly 4 full Prime years to the military

If not for that, he would have had another 85-90 wins, 800+ more K's, and a lower ERA(2.18-3.15 ERA from age 20-28)

So if he hadn't gone to defend his country, his numbers would have been around...
350 wins, 3300 K's, 2.90 ERA, 5 no hitters

So when you're wondering why Gibson made the HOF on the 1st Ballot at 84%, Grove on the 3rd Ballot at 76.4%, and Feller on the 1st Ballot at 93.8%, now you know. You're welcome.

As to your Henke as a better closer than Eck...LMFAO:L

I agree with this... Although I don't really like Julio leading off.

Uk's lineup is clearly better IMO, I do like his pen better as well but not by alot. Milk has the better rotation but again it's closer than he thinks it is, people forget how good J.R. Richard was.

I vote UK in a close one...
