Roll Call - Kings vs Calgary 11/30

Going for the first time in a long time, will have Pucky Jr. I with me. First game ever for just him and I, so I'm excited to take him. I'll be in S205.

Checking to see who will be there, if any of the regs are like Ox, I'd love to see you guys and have a brew.

I barely drink anymore these days, plus we will have that long drive from Yorba Linda so I won't be going crazy either. I can meet you inside the arena upstairs by McDonald's. I'm stoked that it'll be just Jr and I, first ever game with my oldest son and just dad.

Definitely has been a long time, last time I saw you was when Loco was in town and we all sat in the suite against Vanloser in March 2011. That was the first game for all 3 of the siblings to attend together, now with a fourth getting to games is even harder. Almost not worth it because they are so young but about 2 more years and we should be back to attending regularly when the middle two turn 5 and we don't need to do almost everything for them.

Sounds good, what time we shooting for, 7? It'll take me about an hour/1:15 to get there, park, grab Jr's stuff and then come in so I'm going to leave YL about 5:30-5:45.

Better make it about 6:30. The game is a 7:00 start instead of the normal 7:30. Most likely because I think it's the nightcap of the "Hockey Night in Canada" telecast.

Everything went off without a problem - met the Oxilator at 6:35, had a few brews with him, he got to see Jr. I 2.5 years later and we had a good time.

Only fiasco: I valet parked the truck and that was interesting to get back. Never again, it was the same amount of money as the self park and I think I'll just stick to that next time.
