We all know a RB or two will be traded/released, but it looks like the team want to keep Rod around, he's been switched to FB.

Didn't click on it (think I read it yesterday) but as of now I think we have a converted RB and a converted LB at FB. IMO this means we need to either get a FB on this team ASAP or it tells us we aren't carrying one on the 53 this year.

With this many RB's I don't see a true FB having a spot. This move tells me the team wants to keep Rod and there is no way he makes it here as a RB.

Yeah, but if you are going to run the ball a lot, especially in the red zone and shirt yardage, having a FB is better IMO. I know they will use Hanna as an H-Back, but it isn't exactly the same. They didn't use Clutts enough to really justify the position last year, but I wish they would have used a FB more and was hoping with all the talk about how important the running game was and how it was going to help our defense that we would use a FB more in 2016

Good thing is if you want you can usually find a FB. John Kuhn is a FA, right?
