heart attack at 48. much too young.
good BC kid, played almost 500 NHL games.

I know, Boss...it was a shocker...I remember him well..sad news
He has a terrific slap shot but had problems with his accuracy. Good kid though, always gave an effort. That's just way too young to go.
we followed his career a fair bit out here.
Born on Vancouver Island (Port Alberni), and played his junior hockey on the Island as well (Victoria Cougars)
Being such a high draft pick, he was a local boy done good.
He was also on the team the first time Canada won the WJHC (1982)
never mistaken for a star, but a good honest hard worker.
