Im saddened for both families. Im also saddened if he took his life in fear of years in prison.
I hope young people learn from this

Extremely sad. For most people, taking the life of another innocent being is very hard.
So you think he did this out of guilt? The grand jury was convening the following day, he did this to avoid accountability like a coward. According to the arctile the night he was arrested he argued with family members, pull a gun and shot it into the ground. Then he ran from the police and was arrested after he crashed, which could have caused another tragedy. He had learned nothing and did not do this out of guilt.

I'll save my tears for people who deserve it, this guy is a POS.

I think guilt likely played a tremendous role.

The tragedy is he was accused of negligent homcide, left the scene of an accident without rendering aid . Now there are the accusations . The tragedy is he didn’t act like a person who was horrified by his actions and render aid . Instead he is accused of negligent homocide or involuntary manslaughter from what was probably a horrible accident . Max 4 year sentence . He didn’t face consequences for his actions and thought ending his life was better than spending 4 years in jail. The tragedy is he was a selfish , self absorbed asshole and an innocent person is dead

Then why did he wait until the day before the Grand Jury was to hear his case? Why did he run from the law if he was consumed with guilt? He had plenty of time to do this out of guilt, he chose the day before his case was to be heard because accountability was about to be real.

Come on now.

Such a strange argument to make. Explain the timing please. Just total coincidence that he took his life the day before the grand jury was to convene? You really going with that? Why did he run from the police if 4 years was no big deal? Seems if he was guilty ridden he would be ready to accept what fate awaited him.

No disrespect, just curious....is he a coward for killing himself instead of doing 5 to 10 years in prison?
Since you say he is a POS, isn't a life for a life better than doing prison time and then him getting to be free again?

Nope. Not a coincident at all.

Did he run from the police or did he leave the scene?

Lacy never made contact with another car.

I doubt certain charges would have stuck at all.

Lacy probably did pass in a no passing zone. I am betting other cars were also not letting him back over.

Running from the police resulting in an accident could have very well lead to another tragedy which makes him a POS. But do I believe he should be executed? No I do not, that punishment would not have matched the crime as the death was unintentional.

He should have faced his punishment like a man and not put others in danger by running from the police. I'm not sure why anyone would continue to make excuses for his horrid behavior.

Understood.
