The family thinks it was a heart attack. He was visiting his mother up in Groveton when he died.

Too bad. I was pretty young when he played at A&M, but I definitely remember him. He was a good tailback.

I'm 41...things like this make me appreciate how short life can be.

Definitely one of my favorite RB's from back in the day. Represented the school and the state well. Good role model.

Damn. My first trip back to the hoop and get the news that one of my favorite Ags has passed. I remember him as a good college RB in Aggieland and a player that did what ever he was asked and whatever he could do for the team playing for the Oilers. RIP.
