I never got to see him play but I know he was a joy to watch. I have seen him speak several times and he seems like a great person as well. I will miss him calling out the Broncos second round draft pick as he did a few times on draft day!

It's a sad day for me - my 2nd Bronco hero after Gene Mingo. Great guy Floyd Little.

Floyd Little was an Orangeman prior to being a Denver Bronco (1st #1 draft pick actually signed by the Broncos).

Sad day for Broncos Country. Floyd was an Inspiring person. Can't believe how tough he was even in hospice.

We had a spectacular orange and blue sunset for Floyd last evening.

I watched Floyd play many games in the late 60s and 70s. Floyd was a great player on the field and known as a good person off the field. Many fond memories. The Broncos didn't have great teams in those days, but it was during Floyd's time they started becoming competitive and more on par with the other teams in the legacy AFL, and when they merged with the NFL in 1970.

For some reason I still remember Floyd Little doing the commercials on Top Dog Wieners. "Top Dog Wieners are Doggone Good!"
