I frankly cannot believe that he got as much as he did...yes it is the 2017 draft, but it is a 3rd rounder. For a player who was taken in the 6th round and hasn't been able to put together any kind of consistent stretch of play. He bangs, yeah, but he also has no offensive upside and is reckless. I am just shaking my head in awe of Hexy.

I was thinking the same thing awaz. I say give Hextall time; I bet he is working feverishly to move that albatross of a contract. Moving Rinaldo and getting a third in 2017 is a very good move. Somebody in Boston is hellbent in totally dismantling that team and then bringing in replacements that make little sense in comparison to what they could of brought in.

I actually like the life that Rinaldo brought to the game but he had a ref target on his back so no matter what he did he ended up in the box. He had to go let the B's worry about it now...

I like this move a lot. More dead weight out the door for a decent return. Hextall continues to build a championship caliber team. He has two very good goalies to build around and he has infused this team with explosive youth. Things are indeed looking very bright for now and the future.
