The hit on Doughty was a little off. If it was a half second earler he wouldn't have left his feet. I think the Kings players have been chirping him hard and he lost his cool. Westgarth was looking for a chance to pound him.

i kinda thought that as well. Kings are blaming him for Doughty and taking every chance they can to remind him. I hope that it doesn't cost them the game. he should be back some time next period and the refs will be looking for something.

Yea both teams need to keep their cool. Doughty will be looking for Rinaldo as well as a few others.

Refs do need to keep this game under control. I expect a few penalties.

IMO that's good to hear. I enjoy nice hits that cause bruises and broken bones, concussions really worry me though these days

Hard to say. Head wasn't targeted or even hit if the Kings reporter is correct. jim Fox is saying that the fact he went low to high could be an issue, but I don't know that rule.

Very big pussification. If he left his feet to hit the head then absolutely. But here, Zac gains no advantage by leaving his feet. Nothing should come of this.
