Not sure why he wasnt in the 7.5-7.9 range. That description just about fits him perfectly. And Id definitely rather have RG3 than Flacco, Dalton, Palmer, and Smith.

I stopped paying attention and taking it seriously when he had Cam Newton that high.

Agree. I probably like Newton a little more than you. However - 4th ranked QB in the NFL? Please. I also have to seriously question placing Foles that high.

the kids has some work to do . his pocket presence isnt what it could be .

he isnt getting much from the pre snap read

he still doesnt read defenses the way he needs to be

he runs the read option play very well but , to me i dont think he has a feel as to when to run and when to go to the next play

he holds the ball to long on many occasions

his mechanics are suspect

all are fixable but the fact remains he has work to do in this off season :suds:

Hopefully his speed will be back this year. He couldn't out run lineman last year. If he can keep plays alive coverage will breakdown or he can OUT OF BOUNDS. Wilson and Cap are still learning to play from the pocket. Hell Seattle practices plays that break down. Look for more TE and RBI routes this year.

That Bears GM is a QB whisperer isn't he? :noidea:
People put way to much stock in what "experts" think. If he's healthy this year and regresses the skins have issues. If he plays like his rookie year chalk up year 2 as a learning experience and move on.

I agree on the range for RG3 however I disagree with some of the players he put before RG3.

I totally disagree that Cousins is worse then
6.0Thad Lewis6.0Terrelle Pryor5.9-5.5

Can be an emergency starter. Does not have the mental make up or physical talent too perform as a consistent starter. He’s temporary relief, but not a long term solution.
5.9Michael Vick5.8Ryan Fitzpatrick5.8Matt Cassell5.8Kellen Clemens5.8Chad Henne5.8Matt Moore5.8Brian Hoyer5.7Christian Ponder5.5Matt Sanchez5.5Josh Freeman5.5Brandon Weeden5.5Jason Campbell5.5Blaine Gabbert5.5Charlie Whitehurst5.5Brady Quinn5.5Seneca Wallace5.5Shawn Hill5.5Tavaris Jackson5.5Luke Macon5.5Dan Orlovsky5.5Rex Grossman5.5Derek Anderson

Then Cousins- NOOOO WAY

hey i think the guy is hugely wrong on many but lets take the homer glasses off and ask do you really think Rg3 , at this point, is above avg ?

right now i think he is and that his ceiling is unlimited . right now he is avg

Were talking about a player who set records for a rookie QB in the history of the league in year 1. He suffered a severe knee injury at the end of that season and so his play suffered in year 2. I'm not sure why everyone is so inclined to say we "reached", or Griffin can't improve on his year one performance. He will, just sit back and watch!

I understand that but that range wasnt filled with flawless qbs. You could have put him at the bottom of that range on the fair assumption that last year was a down year and he bounces bak.

Also off the top of my head im pretty sure you can make the case that in this horrible worst case scenario season he had last year, that he was still better than 16 teams QBs. At least some of those ranked ahead of him.

I am hopeful RG3 learned a lesson in year 2 about the playbook and film study. If he did...then he will be right back to the top of the discussion as best up and coming QB. If not, we will be looking for a replacement after next season.
