This more than anything is why I think Shanahan gets fired. If Cousins wins this week in dallas, and the RG3 possible trade rumor takes traction, no way does Dan keep him around. He will fire Shanny and deal Cousins for what ever he can get.

Honestly Cousins should have been Starting until RG3 was completely healthy. Then Cousins could have set his trade value (I think Cousins would have played better than RG3 early in the season) and then move him this offseason for drafts picks.

and its the worst thing that could happen. It tells the coach coming in, no matter how badly RG3 plays, you dont have the option to bench him. It tells players on the team that RG3 is above and beyond reproach. And it tells players that might consider coming here that its not about team, its about the QB.

If Cousins had started out the season 3-1, how do you then bench him?? thats the main reason RG3 rushed back, because every one on the planet knows, Shanahan wont bench the hot hand. If Cousins started out the season, the only way Rg3 gets in is if Cousins struggles or gets hurt.

Exactly.. not much. Think of it like a car for a second. You paid $90k for it, but you want out of the payments. The buyer is going to lowball you because he knows you want out of it.

its a 12 mil cap hit out of 41 mil available hard to swallow in 2014 but 2015 could be a banner cap year

my stance is simple , if you dont think RG3 has a chance to be a franchise qb then trade him and get what you can for him

otherwise you will be holding the betts cooley bag

this fan base here has about 5-6 people who think Rg3 is over rated stand by your belief and do what you have to do

KC looked pretty good for one game , he has a chance to look good in all 3 if you believe in him then stand by him
