Kevin Sheehan says he's heard from multiple credible sources that RG3 in D.C. next year is a real talking point and possibly. (Paraphrasing)

Yeah that will solve the issues . If that talk is in play the it says 2 things

1) Allen is still here

2) shark will need to be put on suicide watch and on medications

If true, I'm sure that would mean Jay would be gone.

I can actually see that happening and for the exact same reasons why Baltimore will want to keep him there. His style of play is very similar to Lamar Jackson's. Having him as the back-up next year means not a great drop off from Jackson and no changes in their offensive philosophy if he has to enter the game.

Our team will be moving on from Smith and McCoy next year, Smith because he'll spend significant time on the PUP list and McCoy because of his fragile nature. Whichever QB this team brings in or keeps (Johnson) he will be able to similarly run.

Very possible, Baltimore will let him go after this season and it would be precisely a D.C. move to sign a stiff like that. Fortunately, our salary cap might be the very thing that prevents them from being able to afford his asking price. I certainly hope so!!:hope:

Culture at Redskins Park is already toxic enough - no way in hell do they need RG3 to contribute to this again - especially since his skills have diminished substantially since he left the Redskins.

Flacco? RG3? lol... looked like the stadium could have fit another 50,000 in it last week against a division opponent with the same record. Want attendance in the 20K range?, sign one of those two.

Yep & it is funny that all of this crap is going while they are trying to pit MD, VA & DC against each other for the next stadium. The product just appears to look worse every day & to the average person it appears that the owner just doesn't give a shit. He appears to be worried about the team name & the location of the next stadium but not the actual product.

Starting to get a feeling of what it is like to be a Raiders or Browns fan. Sigh...

with the attendance they're drawing this season, I don't see any reason why the franchise should stay in DC. You can draw these crowds in a much smaller metro area.

That's not FedEx. Besides that's more people than the real FedEx draws now.

Welcome to the club, SoCal. It's just taken you a bit longer to get here than some of us.
Snyder has to sell the team. We, as fans, have to figure out how that must happen. Maybe we can get Mueller to expand his federal investigation to Danny boy?

Nah - I am not at that pt, but I understand your pt. As I posted elsewhere Snyder isn't going anywhere. They have to shake up the FO & hope that they find a competent president/GM who is a legit NFL personnel guy & doesn't have significant skeletons in his closet that will put him at risk. It might take some luck, but it is possible. First step has to be to dump Allen. If he stays then I might be looking for other ways to spend my Sundays in the fall of 2019.

It would just stand to reason and be such a Redskin under Snyder like thing. The Golden Child returns after the red headed step child no one ever wanted is let go.

It would be one hell of a story in these parts. There would be asses in the seats, and merchandise flying off of shelves as Dan's coffers grow once more, that is, until that first slide, then McCoy comes in and tickets are once again, sold to opposing team's fans. [SIGH] :L
