Johnny Manziel will have to be put on suicide watch after he realizes RGIII is now viewed as an upgrade over him.

3? I take some over as well.
Manziel went 3-11 by my count and RG3 will get less rope and possibly rookie competition and possibly a less talented team.

4 wins will be hard fought...they need a playmaker on OFC for sure....I said over b/c the DEF was worst than the talent LY...they were stouter than that in '14

Meh, the Raiders were just as inept as the Browns when he got that job and for a minute Oakland looked vaguely competent. Hue might have a magic touch for dysfunctional organizations.

His offenses in Cincy when it mattered most were awful

He will be another Cleveland coach fired after Year 2

Probably. Dysfunctional organizations have a habit of staying dysfunctional, i.e. Raiders firing Hue Jackson after an 8-8 season surrounded by 4-12 seasons.

Those knees aren't going to hold up in the AFCN! And now that Cleveland let their best O-lineman go (Mack), not to mention their RT (Schwartz)... it's going to be an all-you-can-eat QB buffet in Cleveland.

Now the Ravens can break him twice a year, instead of once every four years... eh @Oldschool739 ?

You might want to go look at that again.

Jackson inherited an average team at that point (went 8-8 the year before with a positive 39 in point differential) and made them slightly worse (8-8 with a -74 point differential during his season). And even that doesn't tell the whole story as that was the year where the AFCW was probably the worst division in football despite everyone playing a relatively easy out of division schedule.

And what is worse he was the main cog in trading for a washed up QB who at that point who (before the HGH) didn't have an arm left in a move that set the franchise back 3 years.

In every aspect of the game the Raiders were worse under Jackson than they were the year before under Cable and his dabbling in the FO aspect of it contributed to what was after that a 3 year period of being one of the worst team in football.

I don't know he is going to do in Cleveland. But his time with the Raiders was a disaster that set the stage for years of futility after him.

They have for a awhile though and the common thread has been Dalton and Marvin Lewis.

I agree, Im not endorsing those 2...But ive been fascinated for 2 years now with all the "Hue Jackson hot coaching candidate" buzz......Ive just been wondering how that happens, when we all sit here every January laughing at how bad the Bengals offense is

I guess this signing will make Cleveland a legitimate contender.

Wow Cleveland signs RG3. I wish Griffin well and hope for the best for Cleveland.

Now what I think will happen is a complete and utter Disaster in Cleveland. Art Model put a curse on that city when he left and it has not yet been lifted. A blind monkey throwing darts could not do much worse than the Browns management at picking players since they came back from the Dead.

Popcorn and Cracker Jack need to be replaced with Xanax and Zoloft or maybe just straight Jack Daniels for Cleveland fans at least then they would have a reason to feel bad on Monday morning besides watching the Browns muddle through another game.

Vaya Con Dios Cleveland fans you will need it

Naaah, RG3 just sucks, much like the 58 other QB's they brought in before him

No curses, just shitty players
