speculated last night, carried over into today, and supposedly done for the most part. we shall see. i do wonder what number nabby's looking for. even though the sharks left him out to dry, he's still a very talented netminder.

I still don't like the laundry list of weak goals from the playoffs this year. Too many times he just stood there as the puck floated by him.

But we should be golden for the regular season.

Unless I'm mistaken, the restrictions are that he must be 35 or older at the time of the signing, and it must be a 1-year deal. I don't think you can offer a long-term contract and have it riddled with incentives.

If that's true, he can't sign until July 25 when he turns 35.

he is a good goalie. he did not have a great postseason this year although no goalie really did.

He hasn't had a great postseason since 2004.

If he signs with Philly I hope he plays well for you guys.

While this would make some sense for the Flyers who are in need of goaltending at this point and with Nabokov looking for a slight upgrade from his $5.375 million cap hit, it could be a match made in heaven. One thing to note though, any contract that Nabokov signs now is a 35+ contract, which means that the full cap hit does not go away if the player is bought out.

well i do not think we are going to sign him to a long term deal.

i know what you mean, and i agree, but does that mean it ends up being short it's more money most likely...is it official yet??
