What was the last big12 team to make final 4 not named kansas?

Off top of my head I can't get one.

Ok state had a good run was that final 4 or elite 8?

Texas in 03?

Yeah I think elite 8 is the peak outside kansas.

And even KU is known for a few chokes.

B12 tapping out.

Heh, still gotta pull for the Horns upset (most disappointing team the season including Florida and Michigan).

I still think it was the strongest conference this yr.

Is that even an upset. Seeding doesn't mean much. I thought UT went off as a favorite.

It was but because as people said. It was 10 teams of balance. No really good teams. In a down year that works. But makes you exposed come tourney time.

Opened as a pick-em. It probably did move in UT's direction. Just seems like the Horns are the dog after their performance this year.

They were the deepest conference in terms of having many quality teams. They had zero elite teams, though. Two upsets doesn't really speak to that since this shit happens, but this is why I laughed when people suggested Kansas as potential NC contenders. Nothing they did on the court, besides beat a bunch of solid but not excellent teams, suggests they are the kind of team we have seen from Kansas squads of the past.

It is true. You can't totally judge a conference by it's tourney performance.

That said, losing two 3 seeds in an hour is pretty bad.
